Enhanced Detection Range

Each DetectPlus M-PIDS unit comes equipped with four fixed HD detector cameras, providing an impressive 70 metre diameter range and comprehensive omnidirectional coverage, meaning fewer units are required to monitor large areas.

This extensive range enhances its effectiveness in monitoring and securing a wide range of construction projects, offering heightened security and peace of mind, while reducing operational costs.

A single M-PIDS unit can often achieve the effective range of up to four shorter range competitor units.

Flexible & Scalable

The DetectPlus M-PIDS offers swift and simple deployment in approximately 20 minutes, making it easy to relocate or add additional M-PIDS units in response to the dynamic nature of site environments and updated risk assessments.

This flexibility allows for the addition of up to four individual DetectPlus detector cameras per M-PIDS unit, which seamlessly integrate into the system creating a mesh network, enhancing coverage to include vulnerable areas such as blind spots, gates and storage areas, as required.

FRG SmartSite Detect

FRG SmartSite Detect fully wireless systems are designed and tested for use in challenging construction site conditions, alerting potential security breaches in real time with video verification.

How SmartSite Detect works:

1. When suspicious activity is detected, the camera activates and records a video clip
2. The clip is sent to the FRG Central Control room where our team of SIA licensed operators view the footage in real time.
3. When the intrusion is genuine our operators can issue audio warnings, dispatch a mobile security team and call the police or emergency services to site as required.

Our fully weatherproof Detect systems demand no existing infrastructure and can be installed or relocated in a matter of minutes for immediate protection. The portable units can be repositioned as your construction project evolves or moved to a new site.

Battery powered 24/7 protection
The units are completely wireless with a typical 4year battery life making FRG Detect solutions the ideal choice where power is limited or for quick relocation. 4 infrared LED’s give night vision up to 12m to ensure a clear picture even in low light conditions.

Tamper detection
FRG Detect includes a built-in tilt sensor triggering an alarm in the case of any tampering or change of unit orientation.
