Edgar co-founded First Response Group in 2007 and has played a central role in the company’s growth and commercial development over nearly two decades.
With a background in finance and business operations, Edgar continues to support the strategic direction of the business alongside the FRG Board.
Edgar is a Chartered Fellow of the CMI and Executive Chair of the UK-Malawi Chamber of Commerce.
Simon joined FRG in 2018 as CEO and co-owner, leading a period of significant growth, diversification and national expansion for the business.
As Executive Chair, his focus is on long-term strategy, governance and supporting the next phase of FRG’s growth across security and facilities management.
Simon represents FRG across several industry forums and working groups, helping drive collaboration and initiatives focused on raising standards across the sector.
With a background in accountancy, Sonya has been a vital part of FRG since 2010 and has played a key role in the company’s growth, helping it evolve from a small regional team to a top 20 security and FM solutions business.
Sonya supports the FRG Board across a broad range of functions, ensuring the smooth operation and ongoing success of the organisation.
Ryan oversees the day-to-day leadership of First Response Group, supporting the growth of the business across security, facilities management and integrated solutions.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, he is responsible for business performance, operational delivery and the development of FRG’s national service offering across complex and high-profile environments.
Ryan is focused on strengthening customer relationships and ensuring FRG continues to evolve in line with customer needs and the changing demands of client sectors. His leadership supports the development of high-performing teams across the business, helping create an environment where people are empowered to grow, take ownership and contribute to FRG’s ongoing success.
Colette is Group Finance Director and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. She is responsible for leading the Finance and IT functions, driving the systems, reporting, and commercial planning that support the business.
Working closely with the Board and Senior Leadership Team, she helps ensure the business remains commercially focused and operationally aligned as FRG continues to grow and evolve.
James leads FRG’s sales, bids and tenders functions, supporting the company’s commercial growth across the security sector and helping shape how the business responds to customer requirements.
Since joining the business in 2018, he has helped strengthen the company’s customer portfolio and played a key role in the growth of FRG’s Risk Management division.
Dannii oversees FRG’s HR and Recruitment functions, supporting a growing frontline workforce operating across security and facilities management services.
Working closely with teams across the business, her role spans workforce development, employee relations and operational support, helping strengthen employee experience, customer delivery and the continued growth of the business.
Alex leads FRG’s Stadia and Events division, supporting security and crowd management operations across major venues, live events and public-facing environments throughout the UK.
With a background spanning hospitality, events and security operations, Alex has supported the delivery of some of the industry’s most high-profile deployments across complex and fast-moving environments.
He is a member of The Security Institute and remains the only person to have won the Security Manager of the Year title at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards in consecutive years, while also winning an OSPA in the same year.
Amy has played a central role in shaping FRG’s brand. Her work spans strategic communications, marketing and PR, supporting FRG’s external profile across the security industry and wider client sectors.
She is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR).
Before joining FRG, Derek served with Police Scotland, specialising in Counter Terrorism and operational risk, where he led the Northern Border Policing Command Unit.
His background across policing, security and governance, alongside several years working within health and safety roles in the oil and gas sector, now supports operational delivery across FRG’s national portfolio, including regulated, public-facing and high-risk environments.
Working closely with operational teams across the business, Derek supports service standards, compliance, risk management and operational delivery, helping ensure FRG continues to deliver effectively across complex customer environments.
Anwar oversees React Security Group, FRG’s specialist canine division, delivering canine security and detection services across critical infrastructure, commercial sites and public venues.
His role includes operational delivery, team development and maintaining the high standards required across specialist canine services.
Anwar is a member of The Security Institute and supports standards and professionalism within the canine security sector.
