Newcastle City Council Elections
FRG supported the Newcastle City Council Elections on 6th May 2021 providing SIA licensed security officers to act as Election Hosts at all 104 polling stations across the county to ensure social distancing and COVID-19 measures were adhered to throughout the full day’s polling activities. Despite a short mobilisation timeframe and increased demand for Election Hosts nationwide, the security provision was 100% successful with all 104 polling stations manned by an FRG Election Host maintaining social distancing on polling day. There were zero reports of problems or altercations and the team ethos so important to FRG’s core values was shown by the front-line Election Hosts who helped set up the polling stations and lend a hand throughout the day as needed.
The University of Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine Trial Security
Oxford University Security Services required a professional team, experienced in high-profile projects with excellent customer service skills. The team would bolster their security efforts at the Covid-19 research facility.
After a full site risk assessment, FRG recommended a 24/7 manned security detail consisting of three security officers during the day and two at night, to ensure robust protection for the trial patients, research staff and the sensitive clinical data. FRG’s SIA licensed security officers control all access and egress through the facility day and night. While safeguarding the safety and integrity of the project.
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
The swipe card access control system at four of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust key hospitals had been run to failure requiring a complete system replacement. FRG installed an innovative networked access control system across the four hospital sites to provide a secure environment without hindering people flow. The project was completed with no interference to the functioning of the hospital and strict hygiene measures were practised by all FRG staff to ensure a clean environment was maintained throughout.
