Case Study

Vacant retail units asset security

When a development company fell into receivership in 2020, FRG worked with the appointed insolvency practitioner to secure vacant retail units in various states of construction on a new build residential and commercial development in the commuter town of Stevenage.

FRG swiftly conducted an on-site risk assessment and recommended a cost-effective security solution mitigating the risks associated with theft, arson, vandalism and illegal occupation and meeting all regulatory and insurance requirements for the site.

FRG Detect temporary monitored alarm system with intruder verification cameras and smoke sensors were installed to each vacant retail unit with remote monitoring from the FRG Control Room and keyholding to ensure swift alarm activation response. Weekly internal and external vacant property inspections were conducted to meet insurance requirements.
