First Response Group (FRG) is a finalist in the 2022 Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs)! We are delighted the dedication and passion shown by Team FRG has been recognised by the OSPAs panel in the Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding) category!
Now in their sixth year, the UK OSPAs serve to acknowledge the contributions that companies, initiatives, teams and individuals make to the security industry and wider community. The awards recognise exceptional performance across 16 categories.
The 2022 OSPAs attracted more submissions and greater diversity than ever before. The judging panel of 28 independent experts from across the security industry faced a challenging task narrowing down the entries, to no more than 10 finalists for each category, with many very impressive nominations narrowly missing out.
“This year’s finalists exemplify the values of the OSPAs. Each one of them has demonstrated outstanding performance in an area of security, be it a company, individual, team, initiative, product or service,” said Professor Martin Gill, Founder of the OSPAs. “All those that were nominated should feel very proud that they were put forward for an OSPA; regardless of whether they have reached finalist status. The competition was very tough this year” Gill further added.
This nomination follows a year of awards success for FRG including finalists in five categories at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards, founders Jamal and Edgar named Black Businesspeople of the Year at the BBBAs and winning the prestigious Recognised Service Provider Award at the Living Wage Champion Awards in June.
The OSPAs winners will be announced on Thursday, 24th February 2022 at a black-tie dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel London. View the full list of finalists here
