We are pleased and proud to announce Troy Moffatt, FRG Commercial Director, as been appointed to the Living Wage Foundation Recognised Service Providers Leadership Group.
Formed in 2015, the Leadership Group is composed of members with specialist service industry experience and insight. It aims to support and drive position change in matters relating to the development of the Living Wage in the UK, with a particular focus in the most challenging areas of low pay.
The real Living Wage is an independently calculated, voluntary rate of pay that is based on the cost of living. It is higher than the government’s minimum and thousands of companies already choose to pay these rates to their staff and service contractors.
The Recognised Service Provider Scheme is an initiative to support best practice in the service industries. The scheme formally recognises the commitment of contractors and dedicated service providers that support the aims of the Living Wage Foundation. FRG became a Living Wage Recognised Service Provider in 2019 and we have seen the enthusiasm of our clients to support their key workers and the positive impact it has on their lives.
Troy championed the introduction of the real Living Wage at FRG and he is looking forward to working the Leadership Group, continuing to motivate the Living Wage movement throughout the service sectors.
